Bailey is a cute very small dog. She tends to be shy around new people, prefers women, and is a little protective of anyone she deems her person. She would really like to be a lap dog and a constant companion. Like a lot of Dachshunds, Bailey can nip and bite. Bailey is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and rides well in the car. She gets along with other well balanced dogs and seems to ignore the cats. Bailey is currently in one of our foster homes. To arrange a meeting, contact Foster Karen at 404-579-6398.
Our Director will be glad to discuss an adoption fee. Bailey's adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, disease testing (dogs testing positive for heartworms are treated; however, we do not add that charge to our adoption fee), up to date vaccinations, deworming, up to date flea/tick & heartworm prevention, a 24Petwatch microchip, and 30 days of ShelterCare pet insurance
