McGyver's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

McGyver's Story...
McGyver showed up at someones house and was posted on lost and found, no one claimed him. How could you not with such a beautiful dog? He looks to be about 2 or 3 years old and around 45lbs. He is an amazing looking Cattle dog. McGyver is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heart worm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. He is very smart and house trained. He loves to play with other dogs but sometimes can be a bit rough, does not know his own strength. We think he would be better as an only dog unless your dog is the same way and can hand rough play. In his foster home he plays with a heeler mix and she has no problem with him. We are not sure about cats, with his energy we think he would be best not being with cats. If you want to turn heads this is the man for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McGyver, a Washington Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Washington, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
