Scout was rescued as a young kitten from a life on the streets in the harshness of winter all by himself in the 14th & Woodbine area. He was absolutely frightened of people and extremely skittish when he came to NTCR. Thanks to tender love and care of NTCR volunteers, Scout has come a long way in learning to trust people and has become a confident and playful fella. Scout with a calm approach will gladly accept head tubs but can spook easily. He starts out shy, but when he feels safe, secure and trusts he warms up quickly. Scout will need an understanding, patient owner who is willing to give him time to feel secure and trust. Once established, sweet Scout enjoys being petted, is full of adventure, loves to explore, and is lively, playful, ball of fun! He is good with other cats and would love to be adopted as part of a pair or to join a family that already has a friendly cat he can befriend and bond with. If you have the patience and want to reap the rewards that come when Scout becomes the secure cat he wants to be, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.
