Gunner's Story...
Available through Lytle Animal Care & Control. Welcome 3 month old Lab/Heeler mix Gunner. He is adorable and about 20 pounds. He may be a 40 - 50 pound dog full grown. He is sweet, social, good with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. He was confiscated from a hoarding situation and is now here with his litter mates looking for his new forever home. He is learning leash manners and does his business outside. He may still make a mistake or two but very smart and wants to take direction. He is healthy, up on all shot requirements, neutered and looking for his forever home on the East Coast. He is currently in Texas but will be transported to the East Coast via Rescue Road Trips. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Gunner. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Pluckemin Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
