Crowley's Story...
***LOCATED IN ARKANSAS*****
This sweet boy is Crowley. He was rescued by a sweet couple. They saw that he was not being cared for and asked if they could have him even though they knew they wouldn't be able to keep him- they just couldn't leave him in the bad place he was living. The folks gave him up and then the young couple contacted me to see if I could take him. I happened to have 2 puppies about his size to hang out with- so I took him in on 1-14-16. At that time he was estimated to be around 7-8 weeks old. Crowley now weighs about 9 pounds so I estimate that he is going to be on the smaller side as an adult- maybe 30-35 pounds but that is just a guess! The vet said he could possibly have Boxer/Beagle/Pug in him- we really don't know! Whatever he is- he is wonderful. He is a very independent puppy and not scared of anything. He is located in Arkansas and will not be transported up to the Northeast until he is adopted. His adoption fee is $250 and the transport fee is $140. So a total of $390. If you would like more info on this handsome boy-please email me, Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering one of my rescues!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crowley, a Hagerstown Boxer/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Beagle for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Boxer/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Beagle breeders who help with Boxer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
