Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Salene was found tied up in the city of Inkster somewhere. She was brought to the Romulus Shelter. It was obvious that she was pregnant so they reached out to our rescue, Providing For Paws. She had 5 babies who have all been adopted out and now it's Mama's turn. She is such a lover. She loves everyone. People, children, and other dogs. All she wants is to be loved on. She is being DNA tested so we will know for sure what her breed is but for now, we are calling her a black lab mix based on how she looks and how her babies turned out. She is also going to be cat tested soon. It's believed that she is only 2-2.5 years old. She is great on leash, great in the car, potty trained, playful and gentle. She has learned how to jump baby gates and also how to open doors by herself. She can open closed doors with handles, not the round knobs. She could be a good helper dog if she was put through training. She's very smart. Now that her babies are gone, we are going to go through the process of getting her spayed and up to date on shots and microchipped. Providing for Paws pays for all of that. If interested please fill out an application or if you have any questions, go to ProvidingforPaws.org and we will be happy to answer them.
***DNA UPDATE***
Her results came back and it says that she is mostly Australian Shepherd, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Mastiff! We used DNAmydog.com for this test. This paperwork will be included with her adoption.
