Akasha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Akasha's Story...
She’s pretty, isn’t she? You just can’t deny it. Even that silly burn on her back (that is healing very nicely, thank you) can not mar Akasha’s beauty. And she’s quite modest about her good looks. In fact, she’s a bit shy at first, but once she’s comfortable around you (which happens quite quickly), your lap suddenly becomes her spot. And she can become a bit of a diva. She sometimes has a hard time tolerating her obviously less attractive canine companions. But Akasha is a good girl who just generally gets along with other dogs. And she is an exceptional cuddler.

Akasha is about 5 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. She’s spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and trained to piddle pads.

For more information about Akasha, please e-mail us at houseoflittledogs@gmail.com. Or you can contact us via our website here: http://www.houseoflittledogs.com/contact.html.

You can submit an adoption application via our website here: http://www.houseoflittledogs.com/application.html.

Our adoption process is simple. We ask you to complete a one-page application. An interview will then take place in your home. There will be no adoption fee. Donations, though, will be appreciated. Adoptions outside of Northwest Arkansas are not out of the question. We welcome sincere inquiries from anywhere, and we’re happy to work with long-distance applicants.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Akasha, a Fayetteville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fayetteville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fayetteville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fayetteville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fayetteville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fayetteville paves the way for another one to be saved.
