found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Nunu is a 4 year old Korean Jindo. Jindos are very unique and awesome dogs, but please do your research before inquiring as they are not a breed for everyone. Nunu is good with most dogs and has lived with a dog-savvy cat, but Jindos generally have high prey drives, so no small animals please. Nunu requires a 6 foot fenced yard and would do best in a quiet home with no young children. He has a very sad past of neglect and abuse, so an experienced owner is preferred. He can be anxious at times and is currently going through some special training classes with his foster parents to work on this. We would like to find someone willing to spend the time to create a strong bond with Nunu, as he deserves someone's full attention and care. He is a happy and loving dog, who needs a kind yet confident leader. His new home must commit to using non-aversive, force free training methods only, as Nunu is very sensitive, and the breed does not do well with heavy-handed discipline. Nunu has some arthritis in his hind end and sometimes goes through periods of lameness due to a previous spinal injury. He will require Flexadin supplements for life. He prefers not to be crated as his previous caretakers sometimes left the dogs in their crates for 24 hours a day; however, Nunu is house-trained and totally non-destructive in the home.
Nunu is neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350. If you are interested in adopting Nunu, please submit an adoption application at http://animalrescueandoutreach.com/adoption-application.
If you would like to donate toward Nunu's care, or toward any other animal in need, please feel free to donate with PayPal, Interac Online or credit card through CanadaHelps.org. http://www.canadahelps.org/CharityProfilePage.aspx?CharityID=d105563. All donations receive a tax receipt.
