Toby's Story...
Name: Toby
Sex: Male
Breed: American Bull Dog Mix
Age: 2 yrs old
Weight: 49lbs
Good with: People and dogs. Untested with cats

Toby is an American Bulldog who is about 2 yrs old. He is white with black spots. He is currently in foster care in MA. Toby is a very sweet, and playful! Boy, he has lots of energy and he loves chasing tennis balls and playing with toys! He is good with other dogs and people but has not been tested with cats. Toby gets very excited when first meeting new friends but he calms down in just a little time. He knows his basic 'sit' and 'no' commands and is working on being calm during his walks and less jumpy. He loves cuddling on the couch before bed, but he will go to his crate (albeit a little reluctantly) when its time to sleep. Toby is a beautiful little polka-dotted dog, and unique in not just appearance! He is looking for his forever home where he can play and love unconditionally.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at http://survivortails.org/adopt.html or email adoptions@survivortails.org with any questions.

We can only adopt in the states of MA, CT and NH.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Boston American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Boston, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
