Aspen's Story...
Born July 2014. Approx. 42 lbs. Aspen is a two year old border collie mix. She is a gorgeous tri-colored girl with spectacular markings and a big smile on her face! This pretty girl has lovely leash skills and even knows how to "sit". She has a very gentle soul and very much wants to love and please her people. She is very attentive and "listens" when you talk to her. She has a lean, athletic build and a wonderful temperament. Sky is the limit with this very smart and super sweet girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a San Leon Border Collie/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Border Collie/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
