Sid's Story...
Sid is a 2 1/2 year old Scottish Terrier mix ready to join your family! He was unfortunately separated from his family and never reunited. He is happy to be here where it is warm and dry, but knows his special person is out there for him! He has gotten along just fine with his canine roommates, and while he can be a little shy around people he has just met, he warms up quickly. He is a lady's man and warms up to women faster, but has no problem with men. Sid is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped. He did test positive for heartworms, but don't let that scare you away! His treatment is completely covered by his adoption fee, thanks to our generous donors. Come and meet him today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sid, a Benbrook Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
