Tessa's Story...
Tessa is such a beautiful girl inside and out. After spending 4 months at the county shelter, she is just so thrilled to be out! She loves to chase her tennis ball, give cuddles and spend time with her people. Tessa walks very well on a leash with little to no pulling. She is very playful and puppy like. She gets along with the other dogs at the rescue and is potty trained. She is spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date om vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a Phoenix American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
