Jan's Story...
We are now accepting applications for these adorable puppies. They will be available in a few weeks. We were called when the puppies and their mama were found stray in a barn. Because of how they arrived, we have no specific information on their breed. All we can go on is what mama looks like and our best guess for her is a boxer, shepherd mix. These little sweeties will be adopted out when they are approximately 8 weeks old. If you are interested in adopting, you are welcome to submit an application for consideration. * The last photo shown is mama, who already has an approved home waiting to adopt her.

***We will accept applications for these puppies thru 1-30-16. We have received an overwhelming amount off applications and only 6 puppies. We need to close the application process in order to be able to process the applications already received.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jan, a Troy Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Troy, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
