My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mabel! She is a small girl with a huge heart. She came to us HW+ and has undergone treatment; she needs to stay calm over the next 4 weeks.

Mabel seems to have a great nose and may make a great working dog. She loves her humans but is having some trouble sharing them with the other hounds. She should go to a home with no other dogs or one with a strong alpha. We have been working with her jealousy and she is getting better.
Mabel was found starving and on the streets. She is getting better with her food drive as she now knows she will be feed on a regular basis.

Mabel is very confident and does not shy away from anyone, she comes when called and will sit beside you when she reaches you. She loves climbing up on laps and gives kisses.

Mabel’s adoption fee is $250 and an above ground fence is required. An application can be found at http://southcentralbloodhounds.org/available.html.

She is currently being fostered in Arkansas, but don’t let the location scare you away. We have an amazing transport network and can arrange to help get your new family member home!
