Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Porter and Burke have an incredible story of survival to tell. Their mother, Daniella was wandering around pregnant and when it came time to have her puppies, in the dead of winter, she chose someone's backyard that seemed safe. Safe it was but too cold for new life. There were 9 pups born, these two are the only survivors. Thank goodness, the woman of the house discovered the unfortunate family and was able to save Daniella, Porter and Burke from the elements. When we were contacted, RCCR gladly took the little family into rescue and are proud to be part of that survival story. They were born on December 1, 2015. Daniella has taken wonderful care of her sons. We DNA tested the pups. They are lab, boxer, cattle dog and Aussie mixes. Daniella weighs 40 pounds, we expect that the boys will be around 50 pounds each. They are neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative and microchipped. As of this writing, January 22, they are 8 weeks old and still need a couple of puppy shots and their rabies. We will take responsibility for those remaining vaccinations. Porter's adoption fee is $375 with all vet work done. They do not need to be adopted together.
