My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oakly has been returned after two years....unfortuately his Adoptive Mom has gone into an assisted living program. Oakley was not able to join her. Oakley is a very laid back boy and is back playing with his foster brother and sisters. See Oakley's bio below from when we first rescued him.

Oakley is a precious Pekingese or Pekingese/Tibetan Spaniel mix. He is on the larger side, weighing about 16-17 lbs. Oakley was very depressed in the pound where we found him but has a new lease on life now that he's been freed from jail and has shown us that he is quite outgoing. He is a great little dog and is eager to meet his new family. We don't know how Oakley is with children but many small breed dogs can be a bit intimidated by them so to be on the safe side no children under the age of 8 for this boy. We will give preference to applicants that can provide vet references for past or current pets. Please download and complete our Preliminary Adoption Application and return it per the instructions given.
