Greta's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Greta's Story...
Greta is a 7-8 month old female Rottweiler we rescued from our local animal control facility. This is such a lovely, sweet dog. We have really enjoyed getting to know her. Greta is toy crazy and will run and chase a ball forever. Her background is totally unknown to us but in the next few weeks please check back for an update on her emerging personality.
Rottweilers can be challenging and need just the right type of owner. As with our other large breed dogs we will have some special requirements for Greta. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THE CRITERIA WILL BE DENIED.
We would prefer Rottweiler experience, but will require large breed experience, a securely fenced yard is a must, no exceptions. EXCELLENT VET HISTORY REQUIRED. Greta will be adopted to an indoor home ONLY, she is a family member, not a yard dog or guard dog. No homes with small children due to her large size and boisterous nature, and acceptance of a home visit from one of our staff. Again , we ask that you please make sure you will meet the criteria set forth for Greta.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, please download and complete our Preliminary Adoption Application and return it per the instructions given.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a McDonough Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
