Lacey's Story...
Lacey is a 5 pound, 3 year old female Yorkie. She's a scamp and very ambitious in her desire to chase squirrels and flush out birds when they land in the yard. She came to us from an owner who lost interest in having a dog, so Lacey's veterinarian asked if we might take her in and find her a more permanent home.

Shortly after we got her, Lacey's foster mom noticed that Lacey's knees were completely bowed. We had them checked out at Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Whittle advised that Lacey needed a little corrective surgery to make her knees stronger. That has been done, and Dr. Whittle says that Lacey is now ready to meet and greet her new family.

Lacey has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.
