Milo is a friendly, calm and mellow young dog. He behaves well around people and children. Milo gets along very well with dogs and cats.

Milo is a mellow and mature young dog. He is born with a loving nature; always wears a smile when meeting people. Being an adult dog, he is still very affectionate, playful and cuddly. He is such a great temperament dog; he gets along well with dogs, cats, and even parrots. He follows commands and also behaves very well when going out. Milo never barks at strangers or dogs he meets while walking in the park. He is potty trained on newspaper inside the room and also outside when walking. He is the best candidate to be a companion for any type of family.

Milo’s story:
Milo and five siblings were born by a stray mom six years ago. Three of the youngsters were adopted through rescue agent, and two were killed by cars on busy streets. Milo was the most gentle and mellow one among the litter, so the rescuer kept him.
Under the loving care of the rescuer, Milo grew into a healthy and happy dog. He has become the best companion of his master who is a single lady. Recently his master was badly injured in a car accident and was unable to take care of Milo anymore. It became urgent to find a new home for Milo.

Milo is very healthy; he has up to date vaccinations and rabies shot. He is neutered and with microchip. He will make a great companion for any family. Please open your heart and give Milo a chance to carry on a happy dog life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Castro Valley Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
