Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a sweet, petite, well-behaved little girl. My human didn't have the time for me, so I am in a foster home. When I was taken in for my spay, they found out I was pregnant with two puppies, but only one survived and he has since been adopted (yay!) I really didn't want to have any more puppies, as I was being bred up until I was 8 years old. I am a very good mommy though, but no more puppies for this girl.
I had to have all my teeth pulled except for two, so my foster mom feeds me dry food mixed with water and uses her Ninja to grind it up for me so that it's easier for me to eat. I may be able to eat hard food once my mouth heals.
I am potty trained and also trained to go on potty pads.
I love to be on a lap to get some special attention, but I'm also happy to lay in my doggy bed by myself.
I get along okay with other dogs but I can become aggravated with them easily, it may be better to let me be the only dog in your home.
I am an older dog (~12 years) but I have many years left in me to make someone very happy.
I would love to have a permanent home with someone that wants a low-key, happy girl! Could that be you?
Chihuahua Rescue says: Emmy came from backyard breeders that discarded her when she was no longer considered a good "breeder", her mouth was horribly infected and she was pregnant, though we didn't know it when she was spayed. Her little male puppy has been adopted and now Emmy is awaiting the perfect home. Her adoption fee is $250 and we think she is about 11 years old. Her Seniors for Seniors fee is $150.
