Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Austin! Austin is a 6-year-old, 25 pound terrier mix who, after being given the time to bond with his people, becomes a snuggler. Other interests include playing ball and exploring stuffed animals. He loves popcorn!
Austin is an outstanding leash walker: he doesn't pull and takes to heart the motto "stop and smell the flowers". He also knows how to sit and will learn new commands quickly(especially if there's popcorn).
While Austin would love to be the center of your world, he can live in a home with dogs who ignore him. Generally he ignores cats. While Austin adores *his* people, he would prefer to take it slow with newcomers.
Austin would thrive in a quiet, adult-only house with little activity, and would particularly love if you work from home. He will be a loyal, loving companion for someone who will give him consistent structure, formal training, and time to blossom into his loving self.
Austin is house-trained, up to date on his vaccinations, and neutered.

Austin is being fostered in Cambridge.

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
