My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Updated Description:
Miss Kitty is a stunning purebred Seal Bi-Color Ragdoll who is about 7 years old. She is such a spectacular cat with the most beautiful markings but she is weirdly grumpy too. If you like to share your pillow, then you would love Miss Kitty. She's adorable, quirky and affectionate, but she isn’t a lap cat and she isn’t afraid to tell you what she wants or doesn’t want! She is a very vocal kitty. She even has an unusual growl she uses on occasion even though she hasn’t showed signs of aggression or trying to bite while doing it. Some kitties are just a bit grumpy not unlike people, but she is still a very nice and loving kitty. Kind of like her namesake Missy Piggy, Miss Kitty is a bit of a diva. She would rather have all the attention and isn’t a fan of sharing with other kitties or dogs. She has lived in houses with both and did fine in houses with both, but she is definitely happiest as an only kitty. Maybe one other calm cat would work out fine.
Some of her grumpiness isn’t unwarranted. Miss Kitty has definitely been through a lot. She was originally owned by an elderly woman who was being taken care of by caretakers who obviously mistreated Miss Kitty. They claimed that Miss Kitty was aggressive, but we discovered that she had three severe hernias in her stomach that required major surgery. We had those removed, and she came back here for a while, but she did not do well at my house with so many other kitties. Finally, one of my awesome fosters took her home and she stayed with her until we adopted her out. She has just recently returned because she was vocalizing too much. Of course, we discovered that she had some problems that likely caused her angst and excessive meowing like an infected toe, very bad mats, and a slightly elevated kidney value. She is a bit on the pudgy side, and it would not hurt for her to be on a diet, especially since she probably needs a special diet to keep her kidney values down. We would be happy to provide information on appropriate food.
What this sweet kitty really needs is a companion that will care for, love on, pamper and be patient with her. Someone who isn’t afraid to earn the love of a sweet yet sassy personality with a bit of grumpy “diva”ness added into the mix.
