Rachel's Story...
Rachel is a very sweet, 1.5 year old Bichon Poodle mix. She is a cuddly and quiet yet playful girl. She has a hurt back leg, but the doctor says that will easily heal. She still loves to walk and just skips a little. She will follow you all over the house to be with you and sleeps quietly through the night. She is eager to please. If you would love to have Rachel in your home, please call Vicky at (760) 672-2258. We are a rescue. An adoption fee will apply. We do a home inspection at the time of adoption. Please go online to www.k9connectionpetadoption.org to fill out an application. You can also come see us at Pet Smart in Encinitas on Saturdays from 11:30 to 2:30.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rachel, a Carlsbad Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Carlsbad, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Carlsbad.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlsbad already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlsbad breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlsbad paves the way for another one to be saved.
