My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There I was, a stray in NYC, for quite a while, too, judging by my thin-ness and coat condition. I was SO glad to be in out of the cold, but that shelter was noisy! SO lucky for me, Little Paws 4 U spoke up for me and here I am, in Rhode Island! I am bathed and clipped. I had a sore on my neck which had thickened, probably due to repeated infections. I had scratched it, too. That has been cleaned and stitched up. The area was tested and there was nothing about it to worry about. I feel so much better, too! I am around 2 years old and weigh 16 pounds. I am not aggressive toward other dogs, but do tend to protect my food and bed, as I had been a stray. I probably would like a family with no other dogs. I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my love of companionship. Please DO NOT inquire if you work long hours and would have to leave me alone. Another, non-aggressive dog would be fine, as would an older, respectful child. My fee of 395. covers all vetting to date, altering, a Heartworm neg.
test, transport to RI, a Health Certificate and I have my own blanket and leash as well.
