I had a happy home and then it was gone and I found myself one of many kitties in the shelter. I was scared to death and hid in my carrier and only poked my head out to eat. Well now things are a lot better for me and I am comfortable in my surroundings but still am sad to find myself homeless. I have beautiful big eyes and lovely glossy black fur. I don't mind other kitties and I love to be petted. As time goes on everything will be less scary for me which I guess is good. But really - I would rather be getting used to a new home and loving hands.
