Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spike is new to our rescue. He is 1 year old. His owners only had him two weeks, so there is little history on him. The family that surrendered him indicated that they had a turtle, a female pitbull and two small children. He did not seem comfortable around the children and growled when they approached. Growls are warnings, and precursors to bites if ignored. So we do not recommend Spike for a home with small children. We have no information about cats, and are not really able to determine how he is with them other than by observing his prey drive.
Spike is crate trained, but did not like being put in the crate unless he was treated and experienced positive reward.
He knows the command sit, and likes to play tug o war and go for walks.
Updates will be posted as we continue our assesments with Spike.
