IDGSR welcomes Marco into the safety of the rescue!!!!!!
Marco is a beautiful male German Shepherd puppy who is 16 weeks old and will be in the 75-95 lb. weight range when fully grown. Marco was brought to a shelter with his sister Mazie who is also up for adoption. Marco is highly treat motivated, very intelligent, loves his toys and loves bones even more, is crate trained, about 80% housetrained, not leash trained yet. He is too large & mouthy for children under 8. Cute, loving, wiggly, kissy - all the good things that puppies are. Marco is still a puppy and will need a patient adopter and the full range of obedience training to make him the best dog he can be.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
