Rex's Story...
Hi, I'm Rex, and I'm a white with dark brindle patches American Bulldog.

My estimate birthdate is 20 Mar 08, and my estimated adult weight could be up to 100 lbs (I'm at about 80 lbs now and still growing).

I'm a hurricane refugee; my previous pet parents gave me up after they couldn't repair our home and didn't have a place to keep me.  I'm a very sweet and loving boy and surprisingly well mannered for my age, and I love to play with the other dogs in foster care.  Please let me foster mom know if you'd like to make me a permanent part of your family :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a San Antonio American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
