BlackJack's Story...

Birthday:  28 May 06

Adult Weight:  110

Hello, I’m BlackJack, and I’m a mastiff / dane cross (my dad was ½ English mastiff & ½ bullmastiff, and my mom was a Great Dane).  I had my very own family until my human parents divorced and then they lost my house and moved places that I wasn’t allowed.  I have excellent house manners and am a very sweet girl and would love to find a forever home.  I am all black with just a touch of white and a truly stunning girl.  I get along with all the other dogs at my foster home, but I’m not too fond of large, pushy females, so it would be best if I didn’t have to live with one permanently.  Please consider making me yours ~

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BlackJack, a San Antonio Great Dane/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Mastiff for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Great Dane/Mastiff dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Mastiff breeders who help with Great Dane/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
