Amber's Story...
Estimated Birthday:  Nov 08

Estimated Adult Weight:  Around 40 lbs.

Hi, I'm Amber, and we really aren't certain what breed / mix I am, but I am a very sweet girl looking for my forever home.  I can be a bit bossy and tend to play rough with other dogs, so I'm probably not a good fit for a household with another dominant female, but other than that I should fit in just about anywhere :)  Oh, and I am an accomplished escape artist -- I can climb chain link in a heartbeat -- so I will need to either ALWAYS be on a leash or in a privacy fenced area when out for potty breaks / exercise ~

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a San Antonio Bullmastiff/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff/Boxer for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Bullmastiff/Boxer dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff/Boxer breeders who help with Bullmastiff/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
