Jacob's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jacob's Story...

HI, my name is Jacob, and I appear to be a purebred Australian Silky Terrier (very similar to a Yorkie but weighing around 10 lbs).

I appeared on a kind lady's doorstep last week, and all efforts to find my previous owner(s) have failed, so I've been turned over to rescue for placement.  I am microchipped, but the chip was never individually registered, and the breeder that implanted it is no longer reachable.

I am a sweet boy with good house manners, and I appear to be middle aged adult -- probably about 5 - not young but definitely not a senior yet.  It had been a while since I was properly groomed, but it's obvious I was loved and cared for not too long ago.  I'm a great lap dog and love to go for car rides, so you could take me with you everywhere -- please consider making me yours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacob, a San Antonio Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
