Rudolph's Story...
Hi - I'm Rudy (AKA Cutie Rudy & my full name is actually Rudolph). I'm a confident fellow. I'm a young boy but full grown at only 13 lbs. I like the company of other dogs, even the big ones! The only thing I like more than dogs is humans! I'm happiest when I can lay next to you or in your lap...just the mere sight of you will make me wag my tail hard enough that you'll hear it hit the floor over and over. I enjoy a nice walk and I'll go outside to go potty since I'm fully house trained but I don't particularly like to stay outside unless you plan to stay out there with me. Overall I'm pretty calm and quiet - not at all hyper and yappy like some other members of my breed. Oh and did I mention that I'm crate trained...because I am! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudolph, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
