Meet our little miracle baby Lazarus Michael. In early October of 2015 we got a call from animal control that they had taken in a pregnant Chihuahua. Could we please help? Well of course we brought her right into the rescue and on October 10, 2015 she gave birth to this one precious little baby boy! He was healthy and nursing well. On the morning of his 5th day on this earth we woke up to find him dehydrated and lethargic. His body temp had gone down to 93 degrees! As it turned out mama's milk had dried up during the night due to the fact that she only had this tiny little 6 ounce baby nursing on her. We started fluids right away and of course we had to bottle feed him. Now the for the miracle. For the next five days as we fed him and gave him fluids mama was still taking care of all his needs including letting him suckle her still. On the fifth day, her milk came back! Unheard of! The rest is history as they say and he is the healthiest happiest little boy ever! He neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on all of his shots and he is also crate trained and pee pad trained He's ready for his forever home!!
