Hi there! My name is Parker! I'm about 6 months old and I weigh about 30 lbs. I was found as a stray in the Salineville area and I was brought in to the Pound. I'm a super sweet and loving little guy! I absolutely love people and I get along great with other dogs and I love to play. I have some resource guarding with other dogs though, so I will require a home that can commit to training me and working with me on my resource guarding. It's not terrible, I just get a little bit growly and snappy sometimes over special toys or on laps and even though I’m not trying to start a fight, depending on the other dog’s personality, it could. If you correct me, I usually go on about my business without any problems. I’m by no means of the word a “bad dog”, I just haven’t ever been taught what is acceptable behavior. I would absolutely love a home with another dog because I love to play with other dogs, I just need a committed owner.
I do really good inside with my potty habits. I don’t have accidents in the office as long as I’m taken out before I come in to the office, then taken out periodically throughout the day.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
