My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Janine is one cool cat with her very on-trend orange mustache. This 1-year-old, beauty is a bit of a talkative gal. For those of us who love a vocal cat, she has a lot to say, though her voice is fairly quiet. Janine has a very striking coat, her coloring is called tortoiseshell and is one of the the most lovely color patterns there is. When Janine was a stray, before coming to rescue, the poor thing was covered in fleas so badly it unfortunately, caused a portion of her hair to fall out. It is now almost completely grown in, though still a bit patchy around her tail. Janine would do well in almost any type of home. She deserves one that will keep her safe so she is never a victim of neglect again. If that may be with your family, contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Janine.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to reduce unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats in at-risk situations and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
