Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB November 25, 2013.
Abaddon is a great, engaging boy. Once he makes friends with you, he really likes to be near you and give you a kiss.
Abaddon was found as a stray at Royal York and Dundas. He was badly injured and taken to Emergency by his rescuers. He was released to Animal Services, who surrendered him to a TCR clinic, where his left hind leg was amputated. He really had a hard time right after the surgery, but we are all so proud of his recovery! He has adjusted well and pretty much gets around and does whatever he wants. He does like some cats, but it is better for him to be an only cat. He will make a great family pet or companion cat, but adopters should take time to integrate him with children. He is probably best with the older crowd.
He likes to sleep nearby on a chair and follow you around when you get up. Boxes and cat trees are favourites as well as the toy tunnels as he hide and pops out when you pass by to surprise you! He loves his wet food but can be picky so have a variety. He is best suited to a home with no balcony.
Special note from his foster family: "We love him and have watched him successfully recover from such a serious injury. He is doing so well. He likes our two cats but is not keen on the other foster cats so our advice is to adopt as a single cat."
