Hi there. My name is Percy. I'm about 3 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found as a stray at the Rogers Sale after apparently having been dumped. I was scared and very unsure, but one nice lady started feeding me and was able to gain my trust. She was able to catch me so the pound people could bring me here.
I'm still very shy and unsure of people and it is a little scary here around all of these strange dogs. I'm slowly adjusting to my surroundings and learning that people can be nice. Plus they feed me, which I really like 'cause I've clearly been starved! I am learning all about being inside. It was really weird at first, but I sure am getting used to it now. It is warm, and WOW, these things the humans call beds sure are comfy.
I am very timid of other dogs right now, but the girls think I'll com around with the other dogs once I settle in some more.
I will require a patient, understanding new family with time to housebreak and train me.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
