Facts about Gibbs

  • Breed: Boxer
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
This flashy fawn male with just a touch of gray appears to be the master of dog relations. Just like his namesake, Gibbs, there’s no discord in the pack when he’s around. This Gibbs has natural ears and a cropped tail on his frame that will be around 70 pounds when he’s filled out. This guy is around 8 years old and is already receiving medication to address being heartworm positive.

Gibbs is steady; not too hyper, not too calm, just the right energy level and temperament. He’s not into toys, but will play with other dogs. He’s OK with his crate but doesn’t get into trouble without it. Of course he’s house trained, and a very good walker on leash. He has met lots of dogs with his current foster mom and likes them all; more importantly, they all follow his lead and behave themselves. He’s been good with kids he’s met but not with cats.

He loves to play in the water, even spilling his water bowl if necessary. Gibbs is Mr. Steady with a terrific smile and a little bounce in his step. He has a knack for calming the waters and getting along. He’s a guy you really want to meet.
