My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PARKER loves to be around people. He will be right by your side curiously watching what you are doing or resting right by you. Though this devastatingly handsome boy wants to be near the people in the house, he isn't pushy or annoying. PARKER loves playing with his toys or chewing on his favorite deer antler. He sits for treats and doesn't jump on you or your furniture. He is happy laying on his bed or at your feet. Sweet PARKER loves other animals and lives happily with his 3 foster cat siblings and his Pomeranian brother. He also loves to go visit his bully and mastiff friends. He is great with all other dogs and can be taken anywhere. He loves riding shotgun in the car but will ride fine in the backseat also. He loves going in the car with you. He is 2 years old and about 75 lbs. He is house trained and gentle with children. PARKER is the perfect family dog and is waiting to be your new best friend!

PARKER is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $300 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to Nashville.

An adoption application on PARKER can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
