found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Spalding is a 58-lb Aussie mix (possibly with Spaniel) with a unique speckled coat and a very expressive face. This boy was found as a stray and sat in a kennel at animal control for nearly a year before coming to our foster homes. He was very shut down and scared of anything new, especially strange men. In his foster home, he has begun to open up and be a playful, happy boy. He is looking for a home that can let him play and learn to be a dog.
Spalding had very little training coming to us. He's still perfecting his house manners and how to not mark in the house, but he is working hard on it. He is crate trained, and quickly catching on to basic commands. Spalding LOVES other dogs big and small and they have really helped him blossom. He enjoys balls and other toys, since having things to play with is very new to him. Venturing out of the house can still be a bit scary for him, but with a leader he can trust, he's willing to follow and explore. Spalding has a medium energy level, so thoroughly enjoys his play sessions but also knows when to settle in for the night
Spalding is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea preventatives, and microchipped. He's being fostered in St Louis area.
