Tito's Story...
Gabby (female tortie, about 5 months) and Tito (brown tabby male, about 4 months) were brought together through rather dire circumstances. At death's door and having lost her littermates, Gabby rallied and fought her way back. A week later, Tito was facing the same fate as an only kitten without the will to live. They were put together by their foster mom in the hopes that Gabby would help give Tito a reason to live, and it worked! Now, we are a happy, active duo who love to play, sleep, and eat together! When one of us is gone, the other will cry and cry until we are together again.

We are currently being fostered in a home with a little dog, but Tito isn't that fond of the dog and would prefer a home without. We will need a quieter home without young children, please. We do enjoy cuddling with the people who love and care for us. We are not expected to be big cats as we are still quite small for our age.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair.

Brief screening questionaire and contract apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tito, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
