Becca's Story...
Becca is a white/tan 11 lbs terrier mix that is 1 yr. old. She was taken in as a stray. The shelter managed to locate her owners but when they were contacted they said they didn’t want her back. We can’t figure out why. This girl is a gem. She is outgoing and sweet and has no behavioral problems. She loves being the center of attention and can be a little needy because she really wants to be petted and cuddled all the time. Becca is housetrained and is not fearful or aggressive at all. She is great on the leash and doesn’t bark. She is not shy with people she meets on her walks. She sleeps well in her crate at night and gets along really well with the other dog in the home. She has a confident, outgoing, silly nature and her foster mom reports that she is a joy to be around.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becca, a Encino Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
