Holly (Spayed & Declawed)'s Story...
"Holly" is a beautiful 9-year old female Manx (possibly Persian mix) kitty who was surrendered by her tearful family on January 25, 2016 because they had a new baby in their household who was allergic to her :( "Holly" has a black/brown/white medium smooth coat, no tail, and a lovely round face with Persian features including a short muzzle which is characteristic of that breed. "Holly" is an affectionate kitty who loves to be held and petted, and she is good with children as well as other cats. This special kitty has already been spayed, and she has also been declawed so she would be required to be an exclusive indoor-only cat. She has been microchipped and was previously combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. We learned that "Holly" was saved from a high-kill shelter in another State shortly before she was to be euthanized :( We would love to see "Holly" back in a real home asap. She will be a wonderful companion for some lucky person or family~

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly (Spayed & Declawed), a Marietta Manx cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manx for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Manx cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manx breeders who help with Manx rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
