My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Russell is a purebred old english sheepdog of approx 18 months and weighs 77 lbs. He is underweight and could do to put on a few lbs..He was surrendered to a local shelter by his owner who said they could not care for him anymore. He looked as if he had never been groomed in his life and was so matted we had to shave him totally down as his ears had thick clumps on them even his eyes were matted nearly shut. Once he was cleaned up and had two baths, he was a totally new dog and as happy as can be. He has a really sweet disposition and is in foster care with another sheepdog as a buddy. He seems to be quite well behaved, not bad on the house training, his foster is working with him. He is just a big lovable dog, not suitable for an apt. and will need a fully fenced in yard and an experienced OES owner

The total adoption cost of $725 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
