My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB June 1, 2012.

Indy and Vegas are two bonded brothers who are looking for their perfect forever home. Both boys are very low maintenance and content, but they are somewhat shy.

Vegas is the quieter of the two, he loves to take long naps on his foster mom's pillow or snuggle up in the middle of the giant dog bed. Indy is a bit more social and is more outgoing, but still nervous at first. Once they know they can trust you, they both are very loyal and sweet boys.

If they are startled, they will just leave the area. Neither have ever been aggressive, but Indy does have one little quirk - when you are giving him love and he doesn't want you to stop, he will swipe at your hand if you pull it away, so we've learned to stop petting him and remove our hands slowly. He gets a little overstimulated sometimes.

They boys live with other cats and dogs in their foster home and really enjoy the other cats. They are fine with the dogs, but they would need a proper and slow introduction to a new dog. They would not be good in a home with younger or louder kids, as that much noise upsets them. They like a quieter house with people who respect their space and know not to move too quickly at them, and who also won't mind if they can't pick them up for cuddles. The boys love to be patted, but they do not like to be held or confined.

These bonded brothers are sweet, kind cats who just want a nice perch in front of a window to watch the world go by.

Note: Double the purrs, double the fun! Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
