Mamma's Story...
Mamma is a 5 year old, 63 pound retired racing Greyhound. Meet Mamma! She is an outgoing brindle beauty who loves running in the yard and playing with the other pups! A perfect day for Mamma includes a balance of napping on her bed, prancing in the yard, and snuggling with you! We get a lot of enjoyment out of watching her try to persuade the other girls to run and play with her…she’s perfected the “play bow” and bark. If you think this fun, spunky girl sounds like a good match for you, come by to meet Mamma! Her racing name was Oh Mamma.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mamma, a West Palm Beach Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
