My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a LOVE and very playful. She is crate trained, house trained, rings a bell to go outside (may need a refresher course on this), sits for her meals and just wants to love and be loved. She gets along best with dogs more her size or bigger. She has a strong prey instinct so NO small animals of any kind around her. She would be perfect to rid your yard of squirrels! Kids of all sizes are fine. She has a very sweet nature and is simply a very sweet girl. She is totally confused having to live outside in the kennel building here at rescue after being in a home since she was a puppy.
Please note, Luci only has one kidney. She lost one during her spay procedure when she was a puppy. She has no complications from it and the vet says she will live a long life. Please consider giving her a second chance at a furever home. You can fill out an application at www.krrtx.org/forms. You won't regret it!

Please note that we are a TX based rescue so all of our dogs are located in TX. We work with Rescue Roadtrips to transport our dogs to their new forever homes upon approval of adoption application. The reason we do this is because TX is a high-kill state due to it being over populated with unwanted dogs, but wonderful dogs, and finding homes in other states helps us to save more lives. Our adoption fee for the NE is $355 ($170 adoption and $185 transportation).
