Stitch's Story...
Stitch is a sweet, affectionate, energetic dog who would be great with an active family. He's 1 1/2 to 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Ideally he'd have a fenced in yard so he can run. He loves almost everybody he meets, which is amazing given his background. We learned about Stitch when someone tried to give him away on Craig's List- 3 months after they got him on Craig's List. They lived in an apartment and never bothered to walk him, so he had no release for his puppy energy. To train him, they beat him with a stick!

Despite the mistreatment he suffered through, Stitch is sweet, friendly and affectionate. He's also great with cats and other dogs.

Stich is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he's available for adoption immediately.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Dalmatian for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Dalmatian breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
