My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Mac (HWTH#15482A). He is a Dachshund mix, DOB: 11/14/14. Mac weighs approximately 7 pounds and stands 10 inches at the shoulders. This little guy is a little shy and will need an owner willing to give him the time to adjust to his new surroundings. Lots of love and structure will help him settle into his new home with more ease. Mac is reserved when meeting new people and needs to be familiar with you before he feels secure. He has what appears to be a large scar on his right flank of unknown origin. The volunteers with Halfway to Home are working with Mac to show him that people can be kind and trustworthy and Mac is making improvement in this area.
