My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There was no way Director Greg Willey was going to leave precious Peppy behind when he was at the Mahoning Dog Kennel rescuing dogs. Peppy is a sweet 11 year old Shih Tzu mix. Most of his teeth are gone but his gentle spirit lives on. It's not known if Peppy likes other dogs or cats but senior or docile ones would probably be fine. An adult household or one with older kids that are respectful to dogs would be perfect. Friendship is hoping that someone finds it in their heart to bring Peppy into their home for his golden years. A shelter is no place for a senior dog. He's hoping to find a nice quiet home ASAP.

If you have older kids and/or another docile dog in your family and are interested in adopting Peppy, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
